need help with sewing machine!!!! baddd!?
ok so im making my first quilt, and i've been using my neighbors machine. its a husquvarna viking 1+
i was threading the bobbin like usual yesterday when it threaded, but something went wrong, and now were having trouble fixing it. the part where u thread the bobbin is just spinning and the needle isnt piking it up...does anyone know how to fix this? please!? if i dont have this done by tomorrow i cant do senior project!
You may have this figured out by now, but these are the things I always try when I am having trouble.
1. Make sure the bobbin is in the case correctly and it is inserted correctly into the machine- if it is backwards, it won't work.
2. Re thread everything.
3. Look for loose threads caught in the bobbin area. Sometimes that is all it takes to make nothing work. Check by taking out the bobbin case and turning the wheel on the machine. As you turn the wheel, look for threads that may have broken off and gotten stuck. Use tweezers to pull out anything that looks like it doesn't belong.
