Oiling your treadle sewing machine
Sewing Machine Problem?
During a project last night my sewing machine slowly developed a "knock". I cleaned the lint out, oiled it, changed the needle and did everything else in the troubelshooting guide and no luck. I even took everything off (thread, needle, etc) and ran it at a high speed...it still makes the noise. When I turn the hand crank it "sticks" before it makes it all the way around and the reverse stitch lever is stuck so it won't work. What is the problem? I need help fast, I have to have this project done in two days!! (Singer Model # 2369)
