singer tradition sewing machine wont work?
i just got a singer tradition sewing machine for christmas, i follow the instructions and thread it correctly but every time i try to use the hand wheel to like bring the bobbin thread up or whatever it just wont wheel. ill press the presser foot and the machine wont go. i dont understand what im doing wrong.

What do you mean by "it won't wheel" - The hand wheel will not turn?
The needle goes down but won't catch the bobbin thread?
The presser foot is the accessory that holds the fabric as the feed dogs move the fabric under the presser foot, from the front to the back of the machine.
The foot pedal/control is the "gas pedal" and controls the starting, speed and stopping of the machine.
Check to see if the feed dogs have been lowered or disengaged.
If you get the hand wheel to turn, pull some of the thread from the bobbin and hold it and the top thread as you turn the hand wheel so the two threads catch and make a loop. Pull to the back of the machine and trim to about 3".
If all fails, take it into the sewing machine dealer and see if they can figure it out in person instead of us working blindfolded.
It could be the timing is off and only a repair person can fix it. Get an estimate.
