Singer Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine w/Case EX
Problem with Singer Sewing Machine?
Something is wrong with my sewing machine! I have a Singer Featherweight 117. It was working great, until the stitch selector on the right side stopped working. I think my son was trying to pull on it and it got loose. I turn it, but it won't let me switch stitch styles. I can even pull the wheel out. It feels really loose and doesn't seem to have anything to attach to when I try jiggling it around. I got the machine secondhand without a manual, so I don't know what to do! I want to save money on sending it in for a repair, or ordering a manual, which I will probably eventually do. Does anyone know how to fix it? I tried taking some of the machine apart but I can't get to it. Help?
