Who makes the best sewing machines?
I'm looking to replace my faithful old sewing machine. I used to quilt, sew something home and simple clothes. The new machines with all the bells and whistles intimidate me, but I want to get a good model. Any experiences you have had, good or bad, welcome!
E saw a middle line myself, if you want to buy again ... Bernina, Elna, Juki, Husqvarna / Viking, Pfaff, Toyota. Otherwise, excellent mechanics are used throughout, although they tend to lack many of the features that make sewing a very nice electronic, sewing as very slow without stalling, automatic needle, the needle to automatically tieoff / down, etc. Most of us need positionable singing, dance, capable of calculation models of sewing machines ... but if you look a little further down a line of sewing machines, which may well find that there are models that can make it much easier to sew without all the bells and whistles: Suggested. read http://www.cet.com/ ~ pennys / faq / smfaq.htm
