Will this sewing machine sew through heavy material?
I'm considering purchasing a Brother 60 Stitch Computerized Free Arm Sewing Machine With Multiple Stitch Functions and I need to know definitely if it will sew through heavy materials such as denim, canvas tapestry, upholstery material, etc.
If not what brand sewing machine should I take a look at (Singer, perhaps?) that will do the above?
According to Walmart, the Brother 60 is actuall the Model 6000i. The manual for this machine says that it sews heavy material such as denim with size 30-50 cotton thread and a 90/14-100/16 needle. The manual makes no mention of upholstery.
I also looked at Singer--but the Singer recommendation site had nothing specifically for upholstery either.
