Which mattress would you choose? Pocket Spring or Latex?
Hi.
I have two options. Same manufacturer; almost identical price tag on both:
(Pocket Spring)
- fleece
- 2 cm high latex
- batting
- sponbon fabric
- pocket springs
- 3 cm high Latex
- cotton
- removable quilted cover
(Height: 18 cm)
or
(Latex)
- fleece
- 3 cm high latex
- 12 cm high latex
- cotton
- removable quilted cover
(Height: 18 cm)
Could it be that this Pocket Springs mattress (with added latex layer) is somehow better than pure Latex? Although i have heard that Latex is a way to go in many aspects?
Should i even be considering something besides pure Latex if i want the best i can get?

If you would be paying the same price, then I would go for the high-end pure Latex. Hypo-allergenic, dust-mite resistant, fire-resistant and naturally-sourced material (eco-friendly).
I have been contemplating this same issue for the past year now, but can't cough up the nearly $2,000 for a King size pure latex mattress.
I love that these mattresses don't have to be flipped and that they are actually "breathable", whereas the synthetic, polyurethane foam mattress is not breathable and can make you sweat.
Springs create pressure points, and that's something you shouldn't have to deal with if you are forking out that kind of money for a good mattress.
