Which is a good sewing machine?
Calling all quilters and sew-ists =)
I am a total beginner, but I have a passion for sewing (I have been handsewing my stuff for some weeks now). I sew plushies - and I want to learn how to quilt, sew bags and totes etc.
I am not sure which sewing machine to buy and the following are a couple of machines I am looking at:

If I knew nothing about sewing machines, I would make a list of the things I would like to make and visit shops that sell sewing machines.
Tell them what you want to sew and they will help you choose a machine.
Test drive the machines and then pick the one you like best from the shopkeeper you like best.
