Can someone please tell me which serger is the best one/?
I am new to sewing, and need to purchase a serger. I have been looking around and am hearing that the singer is better and then I hear that the juki is bettter, Both are similar in prices. the sales people of course want me to purchase at their store so tell me what I want to hear.
If you are looking to purchase a serger for home use and you are a beginner then i would suggest a Janome 240 D, I have been sewing for around 28 years and i love this machine, easy to use simple to thread, and sews fantastic. If you are looking for more of an industrial type for Heavy Duty Sewing, then juki, this is the best industrial machine that i know of. the janome will run you around 250 dollars and the juki around 1000 dollars. hope this helps.
