How to thread the bobbin on a sewing machine?
How do i get the bobbin through that whole to the needle on the sew mini janome sewing machine? when i make a loop with the wheel it doesnt do anything. I dont understand how the bobbin thread is suppose to go through there when its hanging out the other end! help please!
First - make sure when you threaded the sewing machine that you did so with the presser foot up.
If you neglect to do this the stitching will be loopy and not hold.
Now the bobbin - make sure the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the correct direction and through the proper guides on the bobbin case.
Holding on to the thead tail at the needle, lower and raise the needle by turning the handwheel by hand. This will pull the bobbin thread up under the presser foot.
Pull both the bobbin thread tail and needle thread tail under the presser foot and to the back of the sewing machine.
If stitches do not form after all this - the needle is not properly in place. Check to be sure the flat side of the needle (near the top) faces the back of the machine.
