new to sewing machines and need help!?
ok.. i bought the sewing genie and i dont know NOTHING about sewing. I know how to put in the string . Put how do I pull out the fabric when im done? do i cut the string or what?

After finishing a seam, it's good to backstitch a little to anchor the thread and keep it from unraveling. Just move your stitch indicator to Reverse.
When done sewing, make sure your stitching head with needle is in the highest position before you pull out the seam and cut it. That keeps the thread from pulling out of the needle when you begin sewing again.
Some sewing machines have a sharp notch you can shear your thread on, on the needle holder or nearby.
To trim the threads, a trick to make 1 cut for 2 threads is to pull the stitch that's facing you open, pull the loop of thread from the back side to the front, and cut them both close to the seam.
