Elna Sewing Machine: Anyone in the US own one - especially a more recent model?
Is it difficult to get it serviced when it needs repairs?
Already checked the website and called their tech support - just want info from an user's point of view.

I'm near Portland, OR. I know of at least two dozen places around here that can service an Elna.
Generally, dealer-associated repair shops have parts on hand for the brands sold by the dealers, but other service shops can often get the parts with a short wait.
Why not just call repair shops near you and ask? That's really the information you want, I think.
