Does anyone know how to set the timing and voltage on a Brother sewing machine?
Does anyone know how do that? The shop wants 125 to 300 hundred dollars to fix it! I only paid 300 for my machine two years ago ... seems ridiculous to pay that much for repair, I might as well buy a new one! 270d is a brother I appreciate any help!
Hello, first you must understand principles of operation of the sewing machine. Like when the needle through the fabric forms a loop under the hook comes around and passing through the loop when the needle is on the upstroke. If your machine is out of time, it is off. You must have the covers to see where the hook and needle meet the upward movement. The tip of the hook must meet with the needle just above the eye. You can see this by removing the needleplate (plate the needle goes through). To make this right gear below the hook should be separated and the hook just above the eye the needle when it came back together and gears. Basically, the cost of this machine embroidery moment is whether the fact that once you have to do what you have to strip the machine and check everything. The height of the needle, feeddog schedule fixing the tension. It takes time and not many people have the knowledge to do so. Thus, they may pay dearly.
