Embroidery Thread Stand? Last question?
Okay. I just asked how to get large spools of thread onto smaller spools. I had several great answers.
I got one answer that I think is a really good idea. I was told to get a thread stand.
My questions this time are, how do I find out how to use this stand? How do I know if they are compatible with my sewing machine?
I have the Brother SE270D. It has a thread cassette. Do I wind it through the thread cassette? Does anyone know of any websites that will show me how to use my machine with a thread stand? Im BRAND NEW to this machine.

You need a cone thread holder. It doesn't matter what kind of machine you have. The thread holders stand apart from your machine and you run the thread over to it.
Are you sure you bought embroidery thread for a home machine???? I never heard of them coming in a cone thread spool. Many decorative thread does, but it isn't made for home embroidery machines.
