where can i find the price for an old bernina 530 sewing machine,?
i have a 1954 bernina 530 sewing maching with all its parts, i need to see how much it might be worth i have check ebay, and they have them ranging from 149.00 to 500.00 and i dont want to rip anyone off, where can i get it appraised?
Check with your local sewing machine store and watch the sales on ebay... particularly closed sales at high prices -- watch for relistings.
The x30 series of Berninas is considered to be some of the most reliable Bernina produced. You might try to get a copy of John Giordano's book (called roughly Sewing Machine Guide) and see what he has to say about the various x30 models. I recall the 830 seemed to be particularly valued.
